Obituary of Kenneth Edward Waisanen

Kenneth Edward Waisanen, 89, of Moose Lake MN, formerly of Gordon WI, passed away August 3, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth. He was born to Edward Waisanen and Rose Luoma on January 25, 1932. 

Kenneth attended Kalavala School. He married Geraldine Werschay on March 30th, 1957 in Bovey, MN. Kenneth retired as a truck driver in 2010. 

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine Waisanen, his daughter Linda Eickmeyer, his parents, and his granddaughter Andie Johnson.

He is survived by his sons Miles K. Waisanen and Glen A. (Carrie) Waisanen; daughter Peggy A. (Robert) Albright; grandchildren Amelia (Ryan), RJ (Ashley), Christopher (Maggie), Sammie (Austin), Megan (Ted); great-grandchildren Matthew, Waylon, Isabella, Evie, Eero and a baby boy coming November 2021. 

A graveside service for Kenneth will be held at 11am on Monday, August 9th at the Gordon Memorial Cemetery, 143575 St. Croix Rd, Gordon, WI. Lunch will follow at the Gordon Townhall.
