I am so very saddened to hear of Sue's passing and send my deepest condolences to her family.
I have known Sue since she was a close friend of my sister Linda's in high school. I remember that during their Junior year Linda, Sue and I think Susie and Sally drove to Minnesota to look at colleges and stayed with me in my tiny dorm room at St Olaf. It was a hoot and a half and as you know Sue soon after came to St Olaf. There we became fast friends, meeting often at the St Olaf Cafe for coffee, conversation and of course an Ole Roll (perhaps too often for our waistlines).
Sue was one of the best people I have known - kind and funny, bright and inquisitive, thoughtful and strong. I regret that I did not see her lately as have been overseas for the past 20 years or so, but she was always in my heart and I inquired about her often.
My heartfelt condolences to Sues family. She will be missed but will be remembered by me and so many others.
