Carol DeYonge

Obituary of Carol Louise DeYonge

Our amazing mother, our beautiful Little Bird, Carol Louise (Baack) DeYonge was freed from the dementia and pain on August 30,2021 - she was born to Albert and Thea (Lickness) Baack on November 4, 1935 in Lake Wilson, MN.

She was united in marriage to Robert DeYonge on June 21, 1956 - being a Military wife she traveled and lived many places - right after their wedding they boarded a ship to travel to their first assigned military base, Stuttgart Germany - where upon their arrival they were blessed with their first born daughter Kim (DeYonge) FeMatt - though Kim might argue, from there she was given her greatest gift of all in Ft Riley Ks, when her second and favorite daughter Kelly (DeYonge) LeDoux was born - her pride and joy was her daughters and her greatest accomplishment in life was her grandchildren.

She is survived by  daughter, Kim, granddaughters Monique (Adam) Lautenschlager, Stephanie (Eric) Tieman and Christa (Jimmy) Fematt and her beloved great granddaughter Arielle Lautenschlager, and daughter Kelly, grandsons Derek LeDoux and Brody (Cailley) LeDoux -  she was beyond excited at the up coming arrival of her newest great grand baby - although she left the day before she was born, we know in our hearts she greeted Riley Carol-Lynn LeDoux while both were passing into their new worlds - in honor of Great Gamma Curl, her newest pride and joy was given her name to carry on forever - William, grandsons  Nathan DeYonge, Justin DeYonge and Joshua DeYonge - and brother Dale (Randy) Baack - she was also blessed with the continued love and support of Paul LeDoux, Curtis Engelhart and Richard FeMatt .

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters Diana Baack, Audrey Dilly, Janet Deyonge, brothers Richard Baack, James Baack, Leland Baack - she has left behind a trail of broken hearts.

A Memorial Tree was planted for Carol
