Age 78, of Oakdale, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2021. John was an avid fisherman and cribbage player. Preceded in death by parents, Lyle & Elvina. Survived by wife of 53 years, Barb; sons, Brad (Deanna) & Rod (Karie); grandchildren, Coleton, Ava, Maxwell & Brady; sister, Gerry Stroth; brother, William Larson, other relatives, and friends. Memorial gathering on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 3-7 PM with a service at 6 PM at the Cremation Society of MN (1979 Old Hudson Road, St. Paul, MN). Masks required.  A special Thank You goes out to the NC Little Hospice team and the doctors and nurses at Regions Hospital. Memorials preferred to The Little Hospice or the American Heart Association.
