Obituary of Joan Marie Kimball
Joan Marie (Wolf) Kimball, 58, of Cottage Grove, Mn, passed away peacefully at home on August 10th 2021.
She was born to parents Thomas Len Wolf and LaVonne Marie (Huppert) Wolf, on 11/30/1962 in Hastings, Mn.
She graduated from Prescott High School in 1981.
She went on to study cosmetology at the Hastings Beauty School.
Joan worked at various salons as a cosmetologist for 18 years, with longest employment at the HAIRitage in Prescott Wi, with her good friend Cyndi Cashman. 9 years as a stylist, and 13 years as the receptionist, where she was loved by all. She also was employed at Most Pharmacy in Prescott Wi.
Joan went on to be a receptionist at Northwest Respiratory Services in Bloomington MN. For 3 years where she loved her job, and the people she worked with.
Joan loved spending time at the cabin with family and friends. Joan spent as much time as she could spoiling and loving her two granddaughters. She enjoyed crafting, photography, Event planning, and creating things for herself and others. Joan also loved shopping and took pride in finding great deals. She loved traveling and going on new adventures.
Joan met Scott Kimball in high school in 1978. They were married on September 7 1985 in Prescott Wi. Together they raised 2 children: Bradly and Jessica.

Husband Scott, Son Bradly (Malee) Kimball, Daughter Jessica (Shaun) Kelley, Father Thomas Wolf, Siblings Jackie, (Randy) Wuorenma, Brother Jim Wolf. Granddaughters Charlotte Kimball and Stevie Kelley.

The family has entrusted Cremation Society of Mn with the arrangements. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday August 19th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prescott Wi. Visitation at 10:00am, funeral service at 11:00. A luncheon will follow at Ptaceks Event Center in Prescott, Wi. Rev. George R Szews will officiate the ceremony.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
