It was 1983 when Pat and I met while programming at the Sperry Corporation in Eagan, MN and through Pat I came to know Stan. Pat and Stan met while on a Sperry Ski Club trip even though neither one had ever skiied before. It was on that trip that Stan spotted his beloved Pat and the two were married not long after that.
Stan was very personable and caring guy who could easily converse with just about anyone. He did a lot of reading and knew a lot about many different topics. If I had a question about something I would call Pat, who in turn would ask Stan. We had many great discussions over the years and I always respected his opinions.
Stan will be truly missed. My sympathy and condolences go out to Pat, children and the family as you mourn your loss and celebrate all the great "Stan" memories.

I was so lucky to get the chance to work with Stan! If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t have become a CPR instructor. I finally agreed to become an instructor just so he would stop bugging me about it, but ultimately I loved it. He was good at seeing people’s potential. I will very much miss working with him and all his “Stan-isms.” He will not be forgotten.

I was fortunate enough to work with Stan for the last 5 years. In the last 2 years I was blessed with many conversations about our Italian up bringing and who had the better meatball recipe and shared our interest and passion for woodworking. I will miss our conversations and his genuine care for how I and the rest of my coworkers were doing.

I worked under stan for about 5 years. He always made sure as officers that we had what we needed. He cared about us as a whole. He cared about indivulidual well being. He always made it a point to stop by as see us at our buildings to see how we were doing. He will be missed.

Pat, my deepest sympathies to you and the kids. I remember Stan always saying “how much better the pizza was in NY”. The day he got us banned for the Gopher bar because he craved those coneys. Next time he won’t take a marked squad. He was great to work with especially teaching CPR. His nickname Eeyore. His big sigh before speaking. Oh well. I’ll miss his dry sense of humor. I’m glad I got to see him at his retirement party. RIP

I was fortunate enough to have worked with Stan AKA Uncle Grampa for fourteen years until he retired. I had heard many stories from my senior coworkers about Stan before I got to work with him, he really was a legend in his own right back in the day.
But most of all what I will miss about Uncle Grandpa, is the way he treated the people he supervised. He really cared about them and treated them like they were his own Children even though a couple were older than him and the fact that he would cook them a meal every year in December for their Christmas party which really said a lot about him as a human.
My deepest Sympathy goes out to Patty and the kids who I know meant a lot to him as he kept their pictures on his desk and bragged about them every chance he could.
