Obituary of Elizabeth Margaret Buckley

Elizabeth “Liz” Margaret Buckley (Kobinski) age 81 of Cottage Grove, formerly St. Paul passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, July 27^th, 2021 surrounded by family warm in her bed. Liz was born on August 16^th, 1939 to Eugene & Laura Kobinski. She was one of 13 brothers & sisters. 

Liz is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene & Laura Kobinski (Wilson); daughter, Susan Jessen (Buckley); & granddaughter, Tanya Jessen; brothers, William, David, Richard, Michael, James; sisters, Dorothy, Nancy, Sharon & Judy. 

She is survived by her sons, John, Rick, & David; granddaughter & grandson In-Law, AJ and Barb Buckley; grandsons, Greg & Jon; and granddaughter, Tiffany; great-grandchildren, Nikolas, Autumn, Peyton, Blake, Jonathan, and Jayla.  She had many nieces, nephews, relatives, & friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, August 16^th, 2021 at her home in Cottage Grove (8241 Grafton Ave S., Cottage Grove, MN 55016) from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Her family and friends will gather and share food, beverages, and stories & memories of Liz in remembrance and celebration of her life.    The family would like to say a special Thank You to HealthPartners Hospice Care team who providing outstanding care to her in her final weeks.
