Please accept my deepest condolences and my condolences go to the whole family.
I met Mrs Lois West(grandma West)for the first time when I was 14(in 2004). I was an exchange student from Japan.
At that time I couldn’t speaking english enough, so I was kind of afraid to meet new people, I always thought “will she understand my english”.
But when I met her at the first time, she smiled wonderfully and she tried to understand what I said.
When I turned 15 (after a week first time I met her),she came to my birthday party.
I was surprised and I felt that she welcomed me as a West family. Then I also felt she is my grandma in America. I’m really appreciate it.
I have a lot of memories with her, Thanksgiving, Christmas, coffee time……a lot.
The memories I especially remember is driving after school.
When I had a baseball practice in high school, Mrs Robyn West usually picked me up after practice. But when she was very busy, grandma West picked me up instead of Mrs West(I think 3or4 times).
We talked about so many things, I really enjoyed a little alone time with my grandma.
That was special time.
The last time I met her was last February. When I met her, she gave me a big hugs and said “How are you Chihiro !!” with wonderful smile.
We had pancakes at Grayson’s home.
She asked me “Hey, Chihiro, do you think I got old ?”
I said to her “Well, my Japanese grandma(84years old)can’t eat 3 pancakes like you but she is doing good so you didn’t get old.” She laughed.
Every time when I meet her I always take pictures with her. I would love to share my favorite one at Grayson’s house.(Grandma,Nolan,me)
To grandma West
Thank you for wonderful memories.
I miss you a lot.
Thank you so much.
I love you.
In the end I appreciate to God who lead me to meet and share a wonderful time with great person.
