Obituary of Matthew Wayne Allen

Matthew Wayne Allen, age 27, passed away in his sleep unexpectedly on Thursday July 22nd, 2021.

Born on March 5th, 1994 to Bob and Randee (Hunt) Allen, Matt spent a joyful childhood in Shoreview with his brothers Josh (37) and Zach (29). He was known in the community for his sweet and playful attitude, his adventurous spirit and his unwavering loyalty. In his teen years Matt connected with many friends and family through soccer, lifeguarding, wrestling and Centennial United Methodist Church. He graduated from Roseville Area High School in 2012.

Matt attended Winona State University, graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth and was currently finishing his Doctor of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University. He was drawn to help others and made time for anyone in need. His listening ear was appreciated by anyone who reached out and his caring nature touched many hearts.

Matt endeared himself to people wherever he went with his sparkling spirit. He was a cherished son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend. He cared immensely for his parents, his family and his friends. He was an active and enthusiastic person, always ready for a new adventure or challenge. His mischievous side and sense of humor brought joy in unexpected places. Most of all, his kindness showed through in all his words and actions, and will be deeply missed in a way felt beyond our heart-of-hearts.

A celebration of Matt's life will be held at Centennial United Methodist Church - Roseville Campus this coming Saturday July 31st at 2:30pm with visitation at 1:00pm. Please keep Matt's family and friends in your thoughts.
