Obituary of Michael Timothy Dean

Michael Timothy Dean May 7, 1958 to June 16, 2021

On June 16, Michael Timothy Dean (Timmy), age 63 of Minneapolis passed away. His courageous battle with cancer came to an end, and he is now at peace. Micheal was a devoted husband and father to his wife Sunshine and his children Caleb, Brandon, Sierra, Antwa and Quenel.

He is survived by his parents Marlis and Bill, and his sisters Michelle, Vicki and Jodi as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

Michael was most recently an MTC bus driver and an instructor. He was passionate about being an instructor because he loved to teach. He had also spent many years in China teaching English and he spoke fluent Chinese. Storytelling was his gift and as a world traveler; “he had a story for everything”, most often hilarious!

He was a compassionate man and embraced everyone he met as if they were family. His generous, caring and friendly spirit will be missed by so many, especially his hugs; he was a great hugger!
