Obituary of Timothy Jay Woodward

Tim was born on April 1, 1947. Tim passed away on June 26, 2021 at the age of 74. Tim is preceded in death by his parents Clyde & Betty, his sister Meredith & brother-in-law Peter (Christensen), his brother Gary and his best friend, Tom Olsen and his son Jerry. Tim is survived by his son Elliot & daughter-in-law Malyssa, his daughter Rosemary & son-in-law Matt (Majerus), his grandsons Tyler (Sophia) & Jesse his FIRST great-grandson Winston, his granddaughter Kayla, his nephews Dan (Aliecia) and Chris (Amy), and his “bonus” nephew Tim Olsen. Tim always said, “If I die up North, don’t be sad because I am happy!” Well, that is exactly where he was… taking a morning drive on the Jensen Trail in the Superior National Forest just a few miles from his trailer in Isabella, Minnesota. Tim hunted and fished that area for 50+ years and had many friends ‘Up North’ at the Knotted Pine. The stories are endless. Tim’s amazing sense of humor and easy-going spirit will be missed dearly.
