Obituary of Dorothy Ann McDowell

Dorothy Ann McDowell born 4/20/1936 in Dundee, Ohio lost her battle with cancer on 6/26/2021 in Spicer, Minnesota. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Louis McDowell, and grandson, Keenan Richard Buhl. Survived by son, Gary Dean with Susan {Mies} McDowell, and daughter, Pamela Kay McDowell with Jeffery Johnson. Also survived by grandchildren; Jason (Nina) McDowell, Josephine (Benjamin) Kamm, Kaia (Pablo) Barrio Buhl, and Melody (Benjamin) Koch. She has eight Great Grandchildren.

Dorothy enjoyed many activities from high school cheerleading, twirling baton, playing coronet and accordion. She moved to Minnesota from Ohio to marry and raise her family. She joined the workforce after her children were raised. Her retirement years were spent in Yuma, Arizona until staying with her daughter in Spicer, Minnesota.
