Obituary of Irene Puchalla

Irene S. Puchalla, 84, Topock, AZ; long time resident of Morgan Park, passed away peacefully after a  short illness, Friday, June 11, 2021.

Irene retired from Younkers (formerly Glass Block) in 2008 after many years of alteration services.  She was also employed with the DECC for many years with catering.

Always one with a smile on her face and faith in her heart she was loved by all she met. She especially enjoyed the peace and quiet in the Arizona desert and not having to shovel snow in the winter, and always within driving distance of a casino. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace “Wally”, parents  Stephen and Mary

Hudacek; brothers John, Andrew “Hudy”, Stephen, and Tony and beloved grandson Brandon.

She is survived by her son Pat (Cherie) of Superior and daughter Pam (Alan) Cunningham of Topock, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Dustin (Brooke), and Kristen; two great-grandchildren. Zach and Evan. Brothers Frank, Joe (Susan) and Mark (Linda) all of Superior, WI. Sisters Rose of Minneapolis, MN and Mary of Superior, WI. Also survived by Step-grandchildren Leslie Poncio, NJ, Lisa Gutierrez, OK and Richard (Kim) Cunningham, CA. Seven step-great grandchildren and five step-great great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff of Sunrise Medical, Las Vegas, Nevada, for their comfort and care of Irene. Private services are pending.
