Obituary of Mary Eileen Younggren

Younggren, Mary Eileen (Dahlke) 

Age 89 of Bloomington, passed away peacefully June 17, 2021.  After retiring from Control Data in 1977 she launched her hobby into a business, Ceramic Creations, where she taught ceramic classes to many. She was very passionate and skilled at genealogy research publishing multiple family history books.  She was an avid volunteer, including Blm Theater. She continued to quilt with friends from Creekside Sr Ctr, donating their beautiful quilts to those in need. Eileen and her husband loved to travel, exploring every state in the US. They enjoyed many winters in Arizona. Eileen had a quick wit and infectious laugh! Loved by all who met her. Her greatest joy was her family; the grands and greats.

Preceded in death by parents; son, Mark; son-in-law, Ron; and sister, Alice. Survived by loving husband of 71 years, Loyal; daughters, Lynn Hinnenkamp and Nancy Kleve; grandsons, Dan (Jess) Hinnenkamp, Tom (Tiffany) Hinnenkamp, Bob (Sarah) Hinnenkamp, Josh (Krista) Kleve; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Bonnie (Steve) Schmitz and many other relatives and friends. 

A Celebration of Eileen’s Life will be held Sunday, Aug 8, 2021, 2-4 pm, Moir Park Shelter #2, 10320 Morgan Ave So, Blm. All friends and relatives are welcome. Private Interment Fort Snelling.
