Obituary of Bernardo Ball

On Saturday, June 19th 2021, Bernardo Ball, loving son, father and brother passed away at the age of 37. Born on June 4th 1984 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Kevin and Idahlia Ball. 

Bernardo loved spending time with his family and was his happiest when they were all together. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, nature walks, bird watching, video games, chess and philosophical conversations. His passion was computers. He recently graduated from an Information Technology program to pursue a career in computer maintenance and repair.  

Bernardo fought a long battle with mental health and addiction. During his heroic struggle he found precious moments of stability when he was a positive source of comfort and strength to those who cared for him.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Bernard and Eileen Ball and maternal grandparents Juan and Artemia Lira. He is survived by his son X’zavier, his parents Kevin and Idahlia and his girlfriend Allison, his seven siblings Manantial, Rocio (Ronnie), Paloma, Alfredo, Juan (Khou), Lilly (Andrew), and Angie (Avery). He is also survived by seven nieces, a nephew, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in both the US and Mexico. 

His family will miss his beautiful smile and gentle forgiving heart. He will be forever loved and remembered.

Casketed Service Friday, June 25th at 6PM at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4343 Nicollet Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN. All of Bernardo's friends and family are welcome.
