Obituary of Robert Burg

Following a short battle with cancer, it is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Robert Warren Burg of Oakdale, MN on May 11, 2021, at the age of 52.

Rob was born on November 16,1968 in Golden Valley, MN.  He was a talented artist and painter.  He left an impression on everyone who met him. He was very friendly and could relate in some way to anyone he spoke with.  He was kind, caring, compassionate, and very intelligent.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jan Burg, father, Bob Burg, and sister, Elizabeth Burg.  Rob is survived by his beautiful daughter, Alex (Ian) Wallach, stepmother, Diane Bohn, and numerous Burg and Warren family members and friends. 

Rob also leaves behind his loving partner, and recent fiancé, of 22 years, Jessica Miller.  Lastly, he is survived by Jessica’s family who loved him dearly; Scott, Vicki, Jack, Christina, Jesse, Layne, Greysen, Bryce, Jarrod, Heather, and Jaxon.

He leaves behind a large family who will feel his loss everyday, but will always remember him with love.

Per Rob’s wishes, the family will not be holding a formal memorial service.
