Obituary of Carol Virginia Knutson

Knutson, Carol Virginia née Rosenqvist

age 93 of Deephaven, formerly of Cottage Grove, passed away May 20, 2021. She was born in Faribault, MN to Rev. Rolf and Alma Rosenqvist on Dec. 23, 1927. She grew up in Nerstrand, MN where her father was pastor of Grace Lutheran Church and Valley Grove Church. Carol was a graduate of Faribault High School. In 1949 she married Duane Knutson. Together, they raised their family in Rush City and Cottage Grove. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Duane; parents; sister, Ruth Knowlton; brothers, Rolf, Paul, Mark and Norman Rosenqvist. Survived by children, Patricia (Dwayne) Bazdell, David (Barbara), Dean (Lois), Joyce; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.

Private service and interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
