Obituary of Brian Charles Berger

Brian Charles Berger 64, of East Bethel, MN died peacefully in his sleep May 17, 2021, after a long courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Robbinsdale, MN on Oct. 11, 1956 to Douglas and Bernadine Berger. He grew up in Brooklyn Park, MN and lived a full life with a lot of friends. He attended Dunwoody Institute to become a Boilmaker.

He is preceded in death by his late wife, Teri; brother, Tom; and parents, Bernie and Doug Berger.

Brian will be deeply missed by his son, Mike and daughter, Julie; sisters, Melanie and Jane (John); niece, Jenny; nephews, Alex and Jack; and many dear friends.

Brian loved working on projects at his house, riding motorcycles, shooting pool, and hanging out with his large group of friends many of whom he has known since kindergarten.

We would like to thank his caregiver and special friend Melodie Bombeck for all the care she has provided him in his last few months.  Additional thanks to special friends Pat, Mitch, Julie and many others who were a tremendous help to Brian and his family the past few weeks.

Let his spirit ride free on his bike in the wind again...

From the song Freebird

If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me?
For I must be traveling on now

'Cause there's too many places I've got to see.
