Obituary of Ron Koval

Ron Koval, 64, passed away peacefully on April 24th at his home in Brooklyn Park after a 3-year battle with cancer. 

Ron was born on April 6th, 1957 to Anthony and Esther Koval. He graduated with a degree in Marketing and Finance from Minnesota State – Mankato, where he was a member of the baseball team.

Ron met the love of his life (Jackie) and they married in 1983. They enjoyed 38 years wonderful years together.  Ron enjoyed the simple things in life.  He enjoyed time with family, spending time at the cabin fishing, and spending time with his Grandson’s as much as possible. Ron was a devoted Husband, Dad and Papa.

Ron is survived by his wife, Jackie, his Son Bryant (Jackie Koval), his brother, Tony, his sister, Cindy, his grandsons, Parker and Preston and multiple nieces.

A celebration of life will be held at the Cremation Society of MN, Brooklyn Park, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 16^th. Donations preferred to “Masonic Childrens Hospital in MN.
