Obituary of Terence Scott Sadowski

Terence (Terry) Sadowski, aged 74 formally of Minneapolis, MN passed peacefully, surrounded by family May 6, 2021 in New Jersey.

He proudly served in Vietnam for 2 tours, worked as a contractor most of his career and was always ready to help friends & family with broken water heaters, flat tires and hanging doors.

He was an imposing man, but, light on his feet. He loved to dance, especially country 2-step. On the weekends he played with his Harley’s and took trips to Sturgis with his brother-in-law. He was also involved with shooting clubs and competitive matches. He even had a loading workshop for his ammo, which he enlisted his children to mark shells. He loved going to the movies and above all he cherished his family and the time they spent together.

Being the handyman, Terry and Andi transformed their 2-bedroom garage cabin into a luxurious lake home where they began their retirement. Last year, they decided to migrate to milder weather and join their daughter Tara in Southern New Jersey.

Terry was a loving husband to his wife Andrea (Andi) for 52 years, father to Tabytha (Bob), Tara (Pat), Leah (Aaron), and Joe (Nicole). He loved spending time with his grandchildren; Jayden, Gavin, Aidan, Kyran, & Isla, as well as many dear nieces & nephews, and beloved dog Mindy.

Friends may join the family on Monday, May 17th for a celebration of Terry’s life at St John the Baptist Catholic Church of Savage, MN. Visitation 10am-11am, Funeral Mass 11am.
