Obituary of William Keith Vaughan

William Keith Vaughan, of Little Falls, passed away on Sunday May 2, 2021 of a heart condition. He was 78.

Bill was born in Sleepy Eye, MN on September 28, 1942 to parents Kenneth and Hilda Vaughan. He was raised in Glencoe by his grandmother. He graduated from Glencoe High School in 1960, with many lifelong friends. Bill attended college at Mankato State. He served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1965. While in the service he enjoyed his time in Stuttgart Germany, where he spoke proudly of participating in the army baseball team. Later, he worked at FMC as an engineer for almost 30 years.

Bill enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He had a passion for golf, and loved watching Gopher sports and listening to sports broadcasting. Family travel became a favorite with vacations to Italy, Croatia, Ireland, Scotland, Hawaii, and the Pacific Northwest. He loved viewing the fall colors and hiking adventures on the MN North Shore.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bonnie; daughters Sommer (Bill) and Crystal; many close sister-in-law and brother-in-law’s; nieces and nephews; and two grand-dogs.

A private ceremony will be held at Camp Ripley, where he will be buried with honors.
