Obituary of Stephen C. Forseth

Born July 21, 1950, died Aug. 22, 2020. Survived by his wife, Mary Kay of 48 yrs, and sons, Kenneth and Christopher. He graduated from Donfeld High School in 1969 and enlisted in the United States Navy the same month. He served until November of 1972. He was injured in Vietnam. His rank was E-4. He was a Seabee Construction Battalion. 

He worked for the Duluth Transit Authority for 30 years and retired from there. Then he worked for Hermantown School District as a School Bus Driver for 11 years and retired from there. Then he worked as a playground supervisor there. He was also a Third Degree Master Mason and Master Mason of Trinity Lodge 282 AF+AM. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Lucille, brother Barry. Brothers-in-law- Dennis Gregor, Ed Gregorich, David McRae, and Kevin McRae. Sisters-in-law, Eva Forseth and Sandy McRae. In-laws, Jim and Carmelita McRae, and great-nephew Elijah Woodworth. 

Surviving are brothers, Dennis, Curt, Corrie, and David. Sisters, Darlene Gregor, Adelle Wilke (Keven), Ilene Gregorich. Sister-in-laws Peggy Nelson (Dean), Sandy Akers Peterson (Russ), and Mary McRae. Brother-in-laws, Jim (Friend Debbie) Steven, and Daniel. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Celebration of life is April 30 at 3:00 p.m. at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery - 4777 Hwy. 53, Saginaw, MN. 55779. Reception to follow at The Proctor Moose. 415-3rd Ave. Proctor, MN. 55810.
