Obituary of Mary Louise Beecher

Mary Lou Beecher

Age 87 of Brooklyn Center, formerly a resident of NE Minneapolis, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021.

Preceded in death by her loving parents; brother; sister-in-law; and husbands, Delbert and Leonard.

Mary was born and raised in NE Minneapolis. She loved to crochet gifts for her family as well as her many friends. One of her other joys was in sharing home baked goods and spreading her love in this way. Mary also gave many hours of volunteer time to the Minneapolis Heart Institute.

She is survived by daughter, Kathy; son, Glenn (Nancy); 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley (Gail) Tilton; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service Wednesday, May 5, 2021, 11AM, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 7217 W. Broadway, Brooklyn Park. Due to COVID restrictions, there will not be any visitation prior to the service.

Interment to follow at Mound Cemetery, Brooklyn Center.
