Obituary of Henrietta T. Chute

Henrietta T.  Chute, 97, Minnetonka, passed away March 26, 2021.  Henrietta was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis “Budd”, her parents, Lena and Cranshaw Taylor, 2 sisters, 5 brothers, and 2 grandsons.  She is survived by step-daughter, Darlene Deschene, 4 grandchildren, Jeff, Jay, Jamie and Janeen, 12 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many friends, special neighbors, and her little dog Sophia.

Henrietta was one of a kind with her warm smile and greeting to everyone  - “how about a cup of coffee!”  She will be remembered for her love of gardening, country music, feeding the birds, and reminiscing about the good old days.  She worked thirty years at IBM and after retiring she volunteered many hours at the Minnetonka Senior Center.  She was proud that she was still living independently in her home until a week before her death.  She will be dearly missed by many.

Memorial gathering will be on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at the Cremation Society of MN, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park, 55445, from 2pm to 5pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Humane Society or Underdog Rescue MN.
