Obituary of Kien Chau

On the evening of April 22, 2021, Kien Chau passed away at home, surrounded by her family. She was 89 years old. Throughout her life, she had called many places home. She was born in Hong Kong in the winter of 1931. When she was young, her family moved to Saigon, Vietnam. There, she would meet and marry her husband and go on to raise her large and happy family. The U.S. became her third and final home, where she spent 30 years traveling, caring for her family, and making memories. She was a wonderful cook and an incredibly kind and caring soul, with a smile that lit up the room. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she has known and interacted with. She is survived by her husband, Quoc Ha; her 2 sons, Luong and Tuyen; and 6 daughters, Tran, Hoa, Quan, Phuong, Linh, and Phung; as well as her 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on April 28, 2021 between 8:30–9:15AM, at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave S., Edina (952-232-5777). Guests may also participate in prayer with the family between 7:00–8:30AM.

先母何門朱氏見琼于西曆2021年4月22日(農曆三月十一日)晚上九點半在美國明州離世。享年91歲。兹定于4月28日上午七至十時在 Cremation Society of Minnesota at 7110 France Ave., Edina舉辦追悼會，隨後土葬于Acacia Park Cemetery at 2151 Pilot Knob Road, Saint Paul.

8:30-9:15: 親友致祭

9:15-9:45: 誦經起行到墳場

12:30-2:00: 廟內誦經安靈在Tu Viện Tây Phương, Savage MN 55378
