Obituary of John Emil Loftfield, Jr.

LOFTFIELD Jr., John Emil, age 91 of Oakdale, MN, on April 15, 2021.  Korean War Veteran and Mason.

Preceded in death by loving wife, Peggy Ann; parents, John Emil, Sr. & Hulda Loftfield; daughter-in-law, Carol Michele Loftfield.

He is survived by his children, Ronald, Kurt (Judy); his grandchildren, Becky and Matt.  Also survived by sister-in-law, Jean Waldt & sister-in-law, Mary Crandall, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 6:00 PM at The Cremation Society of Minnesota-St. Paul, 1979 Old Hudson Road, St Paul, MN 55119.  There will be a visitation from

5:00-6:00 PM prior to the memorial service.  Both the visitation and memorial service will allow for social distancing and masks will be required for both.  No food or beverages will be provided.

Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
