Obituary of Keith A Carlson

Keith A. Carlson, age 64 of Apple Valley, MN passed away on February 8, 2021 after more than a 4 month battle with a gallstone causing Necrotizing Pancreatitis.  Keith was born October 22, 1956 to Gordon and Elsie Carlson in Marshall, MN.  He grew up in Bloomington and was a 1975 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and the U of M Waseca, MN. He was employed by the City of Burnsville and ISD 191 for more than 30 years. Keith was a very kind hearted person and an outdoorsman.  A few of the things he loved were to spend time with his nieces/nephews (and their dogs), talk to everyone, travel, hike, snowshoe, play tennis and play hockey. Keith was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Carlson; sister, Lisa Carlson; grandparents, Madeline and Camiel VanLerberghe, and Ernest and Emma Carlson.  Keith will be dearly missed by his father, Gordon Carlson (Bev); sister, Kathi Lindau (Jim); sister, Lori Peter (Andy); niece, Ashley Storm (Ben); nephew, Justin Lindau; niece, Victoria Peter; nephew, Jason Peter; great nephew, Oakley Storm; great niece, Marley Storm; along with many other family and friends.
