Obituary of George Buck McLaughlin

George Buck McLaughlin, 70, of Duluth, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021.  George was born October 24, 1950 to John and Delores (Buran) McLaughlin. He grew up in Duluth, graduating from Duluth East High School. George sailed on the Great Lakes for many years and  then ended his career working at Voyageur Bus Company. George loved racing, hunting, fishing, and cheering on the UMD bulldog men’s hockey team. George was preceded in death by his father John and mother Delores.  George is survived by wife Priscilla McLaughlin, daughter Megan (Bryan) Williams, daughter Alyssa McLaughlin, grandchildren Brooklyn, Addyson, and Weston Williams, brother Mike (Kate) McLaughlin, sisters Bonnie (Dick) Pappin, and Diane Westergard, in-laws and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Edgewood Vista Assisted Living staff and Essentia Health Hospice staff, especially Steve Volkman.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
