To the Marchetti family: It was my absolute pleasure taking care of Roland during his time at the VA. I don't think I have every seen such a strong and gentle man. I looked forward to every shift I had with him. He was cracking jokes up until the end. I will forever carry him in my heart. People like Roland is the reason I love my job. He had a heart of gold.

Sending my very heartfelt sympathies to Uncle Rollie's family and dear friends. Whenever we spoke, although not often enough, it was like no time had passed sharing updates on our families, reminiscing about the "old" days and the Marchetti get togethers when my sister and I were growing up. I loved his joy of life, his sense of humor and especially his wonderful laugh. He was especially excited when I told him about my son becoming an Italian citizen and visiting Grandpa Dominic's hometown to finalize the paperwork. God bless, Uncle Rollie. Love, Robin and family
