Obituary of David Dubel
David James Dubel, 42, died Thursday January 28th in St. Michael MN due to complications from a snowmobile accident.
David was born June 1, 1978 in Crystal, MN to Jeff and Donna. Growing up David enjoyed hanging out with his friends, spending time at his family cabin and truly enjoyed winters so he could snowmobile.
David went to Osseo High School and later went into construction where he did many different jobs as a contractor. He had great work ethic and amazing talent in his field. He used his expertise for good as he was always willing to help anybody out that needed it! Dave enjoyed snowmobiling, spending time with his family & friends and loved tinkering on anything with a motor or stereo. He was such a fun person that touched the lives of everybody that he encountered. He should have been a comedian because after time spent with him your tummy and cheeks would hurt from laughing so hard. He had a contagious spirited attitude and a beautiful smile.
The highlight of his life was when he welcomed his daughter Lexi into the world February 6, 1999. He later met his beloved Becky and was an amazing father figure to Josh, Callie and Taylor. Then years later was the best PaPa to Kyzer and Briar. He loved all animals. His new love was his English Bulldog puppy named El Chappo “Pork Chop”.
The world has lost an amazing person. His legacy will be carried on by his lifelong love Becky; daughter, Lexi; mother, Donna (Joe); grandmother, Deanna; brother, Jeff (Robbyn); sister, Jennifer (Drew); sister, Megan; nephew, Trey; nieces, Camryn, Jacey and Lainey; aunts and uncles; two heavily involved in his life Jim & Joe; many cousins and lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jeff; grandfather, Kenneth; grandfather, Bill; grandmother, Gail. We have found peace that he is among loved ones especially the reunion with his father, Jeff who he so very much loved and missed for years.
Saturday, February 13th we will hold a private family service at 1 pm at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, LLC 7835 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445.
We would like to invite friends and extended family to join us to celebrate David’s life from 3-7pm at Broadway Pizza in Elk River; 16754 US-10, Elk River, MN 55330.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made for his daughter Lexi’s education.
