Betty A. Chaput

Age 90

Preceded in death by beloved husband of 66 years Gordon, and sister and husband Joan and Richard Greising. Survived by brothers Keith (Gretchen) Sorenson, Sauk Centre, MN; Brian (Kathy) Sorenson, Buffalo Valley, Tennessee; children, Craig (Joy) Chaput, Blaine; Scott (Sandy) Chaput, Olympia, WA; and Bret (Karen) Chaput, St. Paul. Grandchildren Keegan (Leah) Chaput; Conor (Amy) Chaput; Christina Chaput; Doug (Danielle) Chaput; Sylvie Chaput; great grandchildren Logan, Colin, Jack, Olivia, Braden and Trenton; and many nieces and nephews.

A longtime resident of the East Side of Saint Paul before retiring to the Little Falls area, Betty and Gordon enjoyed many activities there with friends near Lake Alexander. Betty was a daycare provider for 26 years for many family, friends and neighbors. She used her artistic talents to create a ceramics business, and spent many happy hours teaching workshops.
