Obituary of Kathryn Lyn Andrews

Kathryn Lyn Andrews (Bushey), 61, of Duluth, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 13th, 2020. Kathy was born in Duluth, Minnesota to Roberta & Lawrence Bushey on July 30th, 1959. A graduate of Old Central High School (1977), Kathy then went on to pursue a Bachelors of Criminal Justice at Bemidji State University, & ultimately working for Piedmont Dental Associates for 30+ years.

Prior to working for the dental office, Kathy met the love of her life, Gregg Andrews while both working at the Boys & Girls Club—Married on April 16th, 1983. Kathy enjoyed time spent camping, riding her bike, hiking, the ocean, & spending time with her family and friends.

Kathy is preceded in death by Eleanor Gran and Lawrence Bushey.

Kathy is survived by Roberta Bushey, Gregg Andrews, Cameron (Stefanie) Andrews, Ariane (Eric) Frojd, Bryan (Nancy) Bushey, Carrie (Dennis) Malvick, Kris Bushey, Brad Bushey, Jerry (Stacey) Bushey and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the Piedmont Dental Family, Mary Johnson, & Deb Bennett. Kathy always encouraged everyone to be grateful for each day and to enjoy the small things.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a different time after Covid Restrictions are lifted. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Kathy’s Honor.
