Obituary of Michael James Bredeson

"On Saturday, January 16th, Michael James Bredeson passed away peacefully in his sleep after a multi-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, and Dementia. 

Michael was born on July 6th, 1967 and shortly thereafter adopted by Jacky and James Bredeson. He grew up in Thief River Falls, MN and spent the rest of his life living throughout the state.

Michael was well known for his love of Halloween and dressing up for the holiday. He was always the one to encourage the family to dress up in themed costumes, and coordinated all of the face makeup. We always talk about how he missed his calling as a cosmetic artist. 

Michael spent most of his life struggling with mental and physical issues, but the one constant throughout was his deep love for his family. He had various sayings to demonstrate this point, with his most popular being “What’s the #1 rule? Don’t mess with family”. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacky and James. He is survived by his two daughters, Ashley and Brittany, a multitude of cousins, nephews, loved ones, and his family who cared for him the past 6 years. "
