My name is Larry Grunst. Dave and I were really close when we were young. My mother and Odie were close as well. As we grew older and went our way we just kind of sperated as most of us do. We graduated together from N H S in 1965. I was sorry to hear about his passing. I wanted to come to his service in Norseland but because of the Corona and my underlying health issues I have been laying really low. I hope the family understands. GOD BLESS

Auntie Phyl and cousin Brandy share in grieving at David Donald’s death. A Great loss as a Brother, Cousin, Dad, Uncle, and Grandpa. David was a regular in our lives in Mankato and Arizona. There was always plenty of smiles and laughter and sometimes we had serious conversations! We have a favorite place in Apache Jct, on route 88 called the Hitching Post with the Superstition mountains off the back deck, Davids favorite 2nd was Phillys for chicken wings . We are sorry for everyones loss. Our love to the family.

So very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Growing up in Nicollet, we lived a block away from him. Our folks were friends too, and we even went "up north" together one time. I don't have a digital picture of that vacation, but in this 1953 Friendship Days picture, I believe that is Dave in the front, second from left. Hope it brings a smile to his family.
