Obituary of Sharon J. Freund

Age 86, of Cottage Grove, MN Passed away on December 24, 2020, from COVID-19. Sharon was born in Austin, MN, on May 1, 1934. She graduated from Austin High School and was married to Duane Freund in 1953. Sharon retired from Ashland Oil in St. Paul Park and enjoyed playing card games and bridge with friends. She was also actively involved with the Catholic Church of St. Rita. Sharon is survived by her sons, Craig (Lori), Mike (Connie), grandchildren, Luke (Amanda), Justin (Vanessa), Blake, and Jarid (Alexia), and two great-grandchildren. Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Duane (Bane). The family of Sharon Freund wishes to thank the team at White Pine Senior Living. Sharon will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
