Obituary of George Anthony Kraker, Jr

Kraker, George Anthony, Jr. February 14, 1944 – December 28, 2020. Passed away unexpectedly at his home in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Preceded in death by his parents, Joyce and George, Sr. and sister Jery. Survived by his wife, Susan Graham; stepchildren, Eric (Kathy) Graham, Elliott (Cindy) Graham, and Chelsey May; many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; son Anthony Whitlinger; and sister Marsha (Daniel) Wheatcroft.

George had a long career as a Metro Transit bus driver. He then worked part-time delivering flowers for Bachmans, a job he enjoyed tremendously because everyone was always happy to see him. Robust and energetic, even after a few brushes with death, George loved life. His passions were Susan, his dogs, his Harley and Trans Am, and enjoying the view of the lake and wildlife from his sunroom.

Due to COVID-19 no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Animal Humane Society or the Nature Conservancy.
