Obituary of Gordon Clifford Pelzek

Gordon C. Pelzek, 81, of Golden Valley died on December 17, 2020 of complications from Alzheimer’s Disease.  

Survived by wife Michelle, sister Rosemary (Gordon) Sander, daughters Cheryl (Tom), Renee (Jay), Anjanette (Ken), sons Geoff (Amanda) and William, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.   

Gordon was born May 7, 1939 in Milwaukee to Edwin and Angeline Pelzek.   He was a 1957 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Milwaukee. 

Gordon retired in 2004 after a lengthy career in purchasing and sales primarily in industrial supplies.   He dedicated many hours of enthusiastic instruction as a youth baseball coach in Golden Valley from the 1970s into the 1990s and was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan.  

A celebration of Gordon’s life will be held at a later date.
