Obituary of Kathleen Elizabeth Ostrom

Kathleen Elizabeth Ostrom, 89, of Duluth died December 16, 2020 at Villa Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center Superior, WI.   

She was born in Duluth February 4, 1931.  Kathy was a graduate of Denfeld High School.  She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Superior.  Kathy will be remembered as a loving wife, mom, grandma, and friend. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond N. Ostrom, and brother, Philip Larson. 

Survivors include daughters, Susan (Ron) Jessico, Sandra (Art) Johnson and Amy (Lucas) Jorgenson; grandchildren, Sarah Jessico (Chris Lee), Jason Jessico (Meggan Ford), Mary (Tom) Glesner, Elle Jessico, Calla (Kenny) Gilbertson, Anna and Emme Jorgenson; great-grandchildren, Summer, Nolon, Kent, Lydia, and Elliott.

Words cannot describe how thankful we are for the love and care our mother received while at Villa Marina.  At the family’s request, memorials can be directed to Villa Marina Superior, WI (Resident Activities Fund) or Christ Lutheran Church, Superior, WI (Youth/Children Ministry).

Private family services will be held. Inurnment will take place at Oneota Cemetery.  Arrangements by Cremation Society of Minnesota, Duluth.
