Obituary of Gregory Dean Linnerooth

Linnerooth, Gregory Dean, 79, of Woodbury, died peacefully Dec. 9, 2020. He grew up in South St. Paul, the son of Dean and Myrna (Malm) Linnerooth. He graduated from St. Cloud State College in 1964. He began a 42-year career with 3M, moving throughout the United States with the company. He also spent five years in Hong Kong as managing director of 3M Far East Limited. He retired in 2006 as a vice president of 3M. He loved golf, and his motorcycle. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda (Vandell), of Woodbury; son, Michael (Kelli), of Lakeville; daughter, Lauren (Adam) Teather, of Seoul, Korea; grandchildren, Briana and Tyler Linnerooth, Jade and Ella Teather; sister, Gretchen (Dave) McKinnon, Apple Valley; and nieces and nephews. He will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be planned for summer 2021. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Minnesota.
