Obituary of John A Bowden

John A. Bowden

Born August 20, 1954, died of natural causes on December 7, 2020 at the age of 66.

John grew up in Crystal, MN, graduated from Robbinsdale High School in 1971 and went on to attend the U of M where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Carol Bowden; brothers, Paul Bowden and Philip Bowden.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jill Bowden; two daughters, Katie Bowden and Geneva Bowden of Maple Grove; his brother, Vince (Jan) Bowden of Tennessee; sister-in-law, Ruth Bowden and nephew Derek Bowden of Coon Rapids; and extended family and friends.

He passed away at his home in Maple Grove surrounded by his immediate family.

An outdoor inurnment ceremony will be held Friday, December 18, 2020 at 10:00am at the Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, MN (northwest corner of property).
