Obituary of Dana I McKim

Dana I McKim   June 3, 1948 - December 1, 2020

Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Dana and his family moved to Wyoming when he was 9 months old. After his education, Dana served in the Navy from 1968 to 1976, including 4 years in England.  He worked for MTS as an electrical engineer for 35 years. A  lifelong nerd, he loved science fiction, gaming, and was always first in line for the latest gadget. He was the go-to family mechanical resource, adept at taking things apart and putting them back together again. In retirement, Dana spent his time engineering solutions to defend his birdfeeder from defiant squirrels. He loved traveling and was especially fond of the mountains. Above all, Dana believed in fairness and justice. Generous with his time and talents, he volunteered at the food shelf, Habitat for Humanity and other organizations. A dedicated husband and father, he will be deeply missed.
