Obituary of Robert V Yeager

Robert (Bob) V. Yeager of Elk River, MN died from complications of Covid-19 on November 25, 2020 at the age of 76.

Bob is survived by his sons, Matt (Bridget); Paul (Megan); Rob and his daughters, Sandy (Greg) Meersman; Pam (Andrew) Schaffran, and 10 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ken and Mary Yeager, of Sioux City, IA and his wife of almost 50 years, Judy Yeager.

Bob served his country in the Army and “Rode with the Black Horse” in the 11th Calvary. He was proud to be a Vietnam Veteran. He then worked in telecommunications his entire career.

His family and friends will always remember him as a gentle and kind person, who gave the biggest hugs!

Due to Covid-19 restrictions the family will celebrate his life with a small service at The Church of St Gerard Majella of Brooklyn Park on Friday, December 18th. Bob will then be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
