Obituary of Kenneth Arnold Schmidt

Kenneth Arnold Schmidt died on November 27, 2020 from Covid-19 complications.

He was born in Galesville, WI on March 7, 1928.

He was preceded in death by his spouse, Elizabeth (Betty) Brokaw Schmidt; great grandson, Lincoln Kenneth Jackson; and sister, Gloria Kreibich

Kenneth is survived by his sister, Verna Gregg; his children, John (Chelly Townsend), Susan (Jerry Hadland) and Katy Long (Leon); grandchildren, Kirian Langseth-Schmidt (Dan Yuan), Tealyn Langseth-Schmidt, Maggie Ferguson, Cale Jackson (Theresa), Matthew Long and Natalie Long (Brett Benfiet); six great grandchildren and one more due in December. He is also survived by a dear family friend Dave Woods and Cale’s father, Tom Jackson.

The family would like to thank Keystone Bluffs for taking such good care of him. We would also like to thank the health care workers at St. Mary’s 3 East for being with him and facilitating family Zoom visits.
