Obituary of William A. Jopke

William Jopke, 76, of Saginaw, joined his wife LeAnn in Heaven on Thursday, November 26, 2020.

Bill was born in Milwaukee, WI on April 10, 1944 to Arthur and Pearl (Disch) Jopke. He grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan and developed an affection for the woods and water. He fell in love with LeAnn Kennedy in Duluth and they married in 1978. He worked for Sears (and subsidiaries) in asset management for his entire career, retiring in 2001. Dad enjoyed family, spending time at the lake, a good conversation, and watching Packers football (Go Pack Go!).

Bill was preceded in death by wife LeAnn, parents, sister Marylee Koeper, brother Thomas, and numerous in-laws.

He is survived by son Shane (Nichole) Jopke and daughter Shandra (Russ) Melanson; grandchildren Talon, Samara, Brooks, and Brynlee; extended family; friends; and neighbors at the lake.

A private service will be held at a later date.
