Obituary of Michael Wallace Mudgett

Mudgett, Michael W. Our dearly beloved Mike, age 87, of Bloomington MN, passed away peacefully from complications from COVID, on October 25th, 2020. Preceded in death by his parents, sisters and brothers, grandson Logan and granddaughter Mariah. Born in 1933 in Adrian, Michigan, Mike and his identical twin brother, Pat were the youngest of 8 children. He was a Korean War vet, having served in the intelligence division. Mike had the gift of a silver tongue and used this throughout his lifetime career as a salesman of fine lamps, pictures, mirrors and accessories. His showrooms he designed and created, were full of beauty and class. He retired in 2000. Mike enjoyed numerous creative hobbies such as singing, bread baking, gourmet cooking, poetry writing, coloring and of course his passion for clowning as "Mr. Petals the Clown!" He is survived by his beautiful wife of 64 years, Helen, their 5 children, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mike will be remembered by his heart full of love, his delightful sense of humor and his friendly smile! Funeral and celebration of life service TBA at a later date.
