Obituary of Francis A Hall

Francis John Hall, 87, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Superior Rehabilitation Center from complications of COVID-19 virus.

Francis was born July 14, 1933, in Bayfield, Wisconsin to Francis and Marie Hall, the oldest of five children. Francis grew up in Superior, WI, and graduated from Cathedral High School. Francis worked for Great Lakes Towing Company for many years, graduated from UMD and became a CPA; later on in life, he was a financial planner.

Francis was an avid hunter and enjoyed gardening and cooking. He owned and operated Evergreen Trap and Gun Club in Superior, Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, second wife Gail and sister Dorothy Salcedo.

Francis is survived by his daughters Constance (Craig) MacRae of Cloquet, MN, Carolyn (Douglas) Jackson of Duluth, MN; sister Joan (Ed) Simpson of Green Bay, WI; brother Mark (Barbara) Hall of Palm Coast, FL; brother Michael (Robin) Hall of Eau Claire, WI; 6 grandsons, Thomas (Anna) Cawcutt of Cloquet, MN, Michael (Kelly) Cawcutt of Omaha, NE, Torrance (Andrea Jolene) Cawcutt of Esko, MN; Ryan (Raychel) Jackson of Galt, CA, Nicholas (Julie) Jackson of Thornton, CO and Noah Jackson of Duluth, MN; twelve grandchildren; a very special friend Lucille Verdoliak, and Buddy, his dog.

Due to COVID-19, the family will have a private gathering.
