We were truly blessed to have known and loved John. He was always a positive, energetic joker with a heart as big as his trombone was loud. We will all miss him terribly. Much love to you all, and prayers of peace and comfort.

My Condolences to the family. John was an amazing person and Friend. He always had a smile and was always willing to lend an ear. He taught me love of Music and Life and I will never forget his lessons. Thank you John and Godspeed!

My deepest sympathies to the Hussey family. I feel fortunate to have known John for many years. I was one of the lucky folks who got to be a "friend" in the Family and Friends singing group. We had to learn the music and the words and then I was told I had to learn the dance steps. What?!! There were many times when I was tripping over myself and John was always there with a word of encouragement. He was a true gentleman and a man who lived his faith. He shared his musical talents with so many people. I am a better person for having known John. May God bless his family with wonderful memories. Hugs and prayers for all. Donna

My condolences to your wonderful family. Your dad was one of a kind. I was fortunate to have played in musical groups with him and enjoyed our friendship throughout the years. I even sang in the church choir dating back to my junior high school years where your mother played the organ. Your dad was always willing to "stand in" at concerts playing his trombone or whatever instrument was needed. I will miss his friendship. Char (Brockway) Talbot

Daddy we will miss you! On a scale of 1 to 10, now you are 1000! You are a man who’s glass always half full and now it’s overflowing with joy, health, and a spiritual vision of the one true God.... in His presence. From singing praises to Him the day before He picked you up and took you home, now singing praises with a choir of angels! Glorious!!!!! Give Mom a hug from us all and tell her all about her grandchildren! Until I see you again in the Land of Glory!
