Obituary of James N Pauna

James (Jamie) N Pauna, age 56, passed away in an accident on Saturday, October 24, 2020 doing what he loved, riding his 6 wheeler in the woods.

Jamie was born April 21, 1964 to Lester and Carol Pauna. Jamie was loved by all that knew him. He could fix anything and was always eager to help someone out. He loved his RC cars, trucks and boats and was an avid racer in the past. He had fond memories of fixing and riding snowmobiles with his brothers, spending summers in Menahga, MN with his family, spending time hunting at the deer shack and fishing at Big Lake. He also loved camping in the middle of nowhere with his longtime girlfriend, Jodi, and his faithful furry sidekick Betsy and his many friends. Jamie was an awesome person and the world will be a little less bright without him in it.

Jamie was preceded in death by his son Tommy, his mother Carol, his grandmother Ruby, and brother Randy. Jamie is survived by his children, Ryan, Kristina, and Allison Pauna, ex-wife Shelly Swanstrom, longtime girlfriend Jodi Amundson, father Lester, brothers Gary (Bonnie), Kevin (Cheryl), Dan (Lisa), sister Cheryl (Gary) Olson, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will be holding a private gathering. A celebration life will be held in the spring.
