Obituary of Jennifer Elaine Harrison

Jennifer Elaine Harrison, 57, passed away on Friday October 30, 2020 at Essentia Medical Center, surrounded by her family.

Jen was born on July 10th, 1963 in Bagley, MN. She graduated from Superior High School in 1986. She then graduated from WITC with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and went on to manage two stores in Duluth and a store in Burnsville, MN. For the last 28 years she loved working at Cub Foods in Duluth, where her coworkers became friends.

Jen loved and spoiled all of her pets, along with everyone else’s. She enjoyed fishing, having campfires, and traveling, especially to Mexico. She also loved spending lots of time in Gordon with family, friends, and the dogs.

Jen was preceded in death by her father, Iver Hoven and step father, Ron Greely.

She will be deeply missed by her husband of 30 years, Daniel; her sons, Matt (Brooke Camps) and Zach of Esko, MN; mother, Sharon Greely of Superior, WI; sister, Lavail (Verl) Anderson of Superior, WI; brothers, Dave (Kari) Hoven of Isanti, MN and Robert Hoven of Hawthorne, WI; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Tanberg and the nursing staff on the 8th and 9th floor at Essentia for taking such good care of her. We are grateful.

Due to Covid, there will be a private service for family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
