Obituary of Paul Thomas Twohy
July 8, 1958-October 26, 2020
Paul Thomas Twohy died, consumed by the laryngeal cancer that finally took him October 26, 2020, almost four years to the day of his diagnosis. He was an artistic and brave soul, only limited by his physical form. In short, he was a man of wit, intelligence, and craftsmanship. Paul experienced a variety of careers and life experiences in his too short life of sixty-two years: working as a scientist, computer consultant, and finally for Northwest/Delta airlines; earning two master’s degrees; and renovating a number of houses and furniture over the years. Talented, hardworking, and managing every aspect of his life with an unmatched sense of humor. He is survived by his only daughter, Shannon Twohy, “best ex-wife that ever lived,” Patricia Timpane-Twohy, and his loving siblings—where he was number six of twelve. Proceeded in death by his beloved brothers Bill Twohy, Tim Twohy, and Brian Twohy; saint of a mother, Shirley Twohy; and father, Jim Twohy. Memorials in Paul’s honor can be made to Justus Health: www.justushealth.org. Arrangements made through Cremation Society of Minnesota.
